**Customer Assistance Representative**
**Responsibilities/ Accountabilities**
* Efficiently and effectively support domestic and international sample order requests from customers and process through SAP as well as work with our 3rd party warehouses and manufacturing sites to fulfill orders.
* Facilitate master data setup process for samples product codes in conjunction with key stakeholders across the business.
* Address trade compliance and/or freight related issues with sample shipments with key partners across the organization.
* Support Planning & Replenishment Manager with data & analytics reports from PowerBI, SAP, and Business Objects to proactively manage sample inventory throughout the global network.
* Replenish sample inventory at 3rd party warehouses and internal sites globally in alignment with safety stock strategy.
* Proactively communicate with sales and customers on sample shipments as well as backorders.
* Identify and implement opportunities to streamline business processes and standardized reports.
* Build collaborative relationships between different departments to provide a singular response to the customer and ensure timely and effective sample fulfillment for customers.
**REQUIREMENTS**
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of 3 years prior experience in customer service or sales support
* Experience with SAP and CRM
* Passionate for continuous improvement, with a strong focus on the customer
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in customer-facing functions
* Computer literacy and analytical skills (e.g. Excel)
* Persistence and discipline with a drive for results
* Process and detail oriented
