Salary $30.92 after 60 days.

Core Hours 9a to 5p must be willing to work overtime as needed.


Job description

Maintenance Technician opportunity in Sidney, OH for experienced candidate with both electrical and mechanical industrial troubleshooting experience. Safely perform a wide range of duties relating to installation, troubleshooting, repair, unscheduled maintenance, and preventive maintenance of machining equipment with minimal supervision. Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components and maintain facility related systems and equipment. Conduct troubleshooting of complex equipment and systems. Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to maintenance program and system design.

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills Required

  • have strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
  • background beneficial.
  • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting 480VAC 3phase power systems
  • the skills needed to repair, maintain and troubleshoot machinery.
  • to use critical thinking and problem-solving to identify solutions or approaches to problems.
  • basic understanding of variable frequency drives, motor starters, overloads, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electrical circuits.
  • to work safely with hazardous chemicals and wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools.
  • mechanical devices and equipment in operation and troubleshoots accordingly.
  • broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete.
  • broken or defective parts/equipment, which may include grinding and welding.
  • down, clean and rebuild equipment on a daily basis to ensure compliance with general safety requirements.
  • in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.
  • with Maintenance Colleagues, Production Supervisors, and Plant Management, as needed.
  • all applicable rules and procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Arc Flash, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and other related programs.
  • participate on Safety Committee
  • participate on Continuous Improvement Teams to improve operations and safety.


Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial, electrical or mechanical manufacturing environment.

Certification or Licensure: Preferred

Must have a valid drivers license
