Job Details: The starting rate will be $80 an hour. Full time doctors would receive benefits upon discussion.
Mobile Veterinarian Job Responsibilities
- Travel to different communities on their Mobile van to administer vaccines and preventative care
- Diagnostic testing for Heartworm disease and recommendation of preventative medication
- Be present to administer medication in case of vaccine reaction
- Weekend hours are required for this position
Days of operation are Friday-Sunday for the mobile. All 3 days are not required, but welcome.
Veterinarian Qualifications / Skills:
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Animal husbandry
- Basic safety
- Documentation skills
- Customer service
- Performing diagnostic procedures
- Use of medical technologies
- Job knowledge Verbal communication
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree
- Completion of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- State license to practice in the profession
