Position Title: Maintenance/Machine Operator

Department: Carr Lane Direct Labor

Location: St. Louis, MO

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

Responsible for machine preventive maintenance, facility maintenance, operating sonic cleaner and efficiently clean all component parts for the assembly department.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide Maintenance services as needed - Preventive Maintenance for machines, facility maintenance, repairs
  • Operate computer on sonic cleaner
  • Add soap to tanks in correct amounts
  • Employ and clean tanks as necessary
  • Fill out cleaning sheets daily for quality department
  • Transport heavy parts (approx. 50 lbs) throughout facility
  • Replenishes stock on the assembly lines
  • Assist in other areas, or tasks, to meet production needs

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 1 year Facility/Machine Maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions
  • Ability to know measurements
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
