Description

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add a multiple Warehouse Material Handlers to its team. This role will work in Concord, NC and works either Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm OR Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm. This role requires the ability to work OT on weekends and off shifts as needed.This is a contract role that pays $22-24 per hour.

The Warehouse Material handlers will be responsible for moving and storing of raw materials and packaging components Requirement to handle and process materials in inventory system always following cGMP processes.

This is an active Pharmaceutical constriction/warehouse site.

Full PPE will be mandatory to wear (provided by client)

Responsibilities:

  • Move materials manually using material handling equipment within the Concord site following the directions of Warehouse supervisor or lead.
  • Role will also be client facing daily-receiving instructions on day to day tasks.
  • Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
  • Routinely inspects area for health and safety issues.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE corporate and site goals.
  • Perform manual material transfer (pallet to pallet transfer) as assigned by the supervisor and following the relevant SOP's.
  • Follow all cGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality initiatives and audits.
  • Compliance to FDA, EMEA, DEA, OSHA, IDEM, EPA and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain learning plan at 100% current.
  • Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities.
  • Perform transactions in SAP if required using RF guns.


Requirements:
  • Previous experience as material handlers within a warehouse, with forklift operating, electric pallet jacks is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
  • All candidates will have to get forklift certification (client certification) onsite.
  • Certified to operate assigned powered industrial trucks or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment start***
  • Full PPE will be mandatory to wear (provided by client)
  • Trained through client courses-learning and certification (laptop provided)
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to effectively communicate (electronically, written and verbal)
  • Flexibility - the ability to troubleshoot and triage challenges.
  • Ability to use Computer tools (desktop, MS Office) and electronic tools (Scan guns and tablets).
  • Ability to pick-up / move up to 50-pound containers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies
  • Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, OSHA and EPA.
  • Ability to use technology tools such as Scan guns, tablets and laptops strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with materials handling and inventory management systems.
  • Previous warehouse/logistics experience in a cGMP environment.


Additional Information:
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed.
  • Tasks may require handling hazardous materials following safety procedures.
