Description
The Multi Family Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities across our apartment communities. This position will be at the forefront of vendor relations and managing third-party vendor activities, as well as, in-house technicians. The position will provide support to the multi family property manager and will help our multi family communities realize their full potential through improvement projects!
Responsibilities
Ensuring work orders are responded to promptly and can be closed in a timely manner
Communicate with vendors, tenants, and owners about work orders
Be the point of contact for all open work order inquiries
Use company software to efficiently assign and manipulate work orders
Schedule and coordinate all work orders with techs and vendors
Foster good communication with Portfolio Managers and assist with property needs
Be knowledgeable of spending limits for properties
Execute all billing of work orders and meet financial goals
Execute each community's vision for improvement while adhering to property budgets
Qualifications
Proven experience as a coordinator or customer service position in multi-family property management environments
Experience in prioritizing work orders & scheduling maintenance professionals is a MUST
Experience in enforcing a community standard with all in-house technicians and outside vendors is a PLUS
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Experience in providing residents what they deserve in a safe and functioning home
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Knowledge of local housing provisions and federal fair housing laws
Proficiency in computer systems and software used in leasing and property management. We are offsite property managers, so your software is CRUCIAL
