Spencer Ogden is currently looking for a Construction Manager to help support small CAPEX and a Turnaround as an owner's rep. The role will be a 1 year contract and will be 4/10 schedule pre turnaround and 7/12 during the turnaround. The Construction Manager reports directly to the Construction Management Lead and is responsible for overseeing assigned multidisciplinary site construction projects for the Company. This role involves managing and supporting all aspects of field construction to ensure compliance with the Company's contract terms, design specifications, policies, principles, and regulations, thereby ensuring the construction of safe, reliable, optimized, and cost-effective units.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Construction Management experience
- Experience with being hand on within the field and being able to help troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Experience with Turnarounds - both pre-outage, during and post outage
- Experience with working on small/ maintenance projects (couple of thousand to several millions)
- Experience working as a owner's rep - managing craft and subcontractors.
- Experience working in a downstream facility (chemical, petrochemical or refinery)
- Ideal background would be someone with a Mechanical focus within construction
