801 Local is the newest exciting concept from the 801 Restaurant Group. 801 Local will feature an upscale menu and fabulous cocktail bar, in a stunning yet comfortable setting. We are currently seeking energetic, experienced restaurant professionals to join our opening team.
**Line Cooks:**
Join our experienced team and work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest of quality food. We take pride in what we do and are looking for like minded people.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Ability to broil, grill, saute and/or pantry
* Ability to handle knives
* Ability to operate kitchen equipment
* Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
* Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety
* Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed our guest's expectations
* Label food and ensure proper rotation (FIFO)
* Meet special guest requests while ensuring same high quality standards
**Requirements:**
* Must have upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude
* Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
