Stuller, Inc. is the largest jewelry manufacturing and distribution facility in the United States and an industry leader in the domestic and international jewelry sectors. The position of Machine Operator is responsible for the knowledge and operation of multiple pieces of automatic and manual equipment involved in the manufacturing of jewelry items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company attendance policies satisfactorily.
- Operate and maintain multiple pieces of automatic and manual equipment.
- Cross-train in various areas to address seasonal demands.
- Provide input on enhancing job efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accountability for work-in-progress (WIP) jobs.
- Work in a safety-conscious manner throughout all tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain an organized work area.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to use measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or jewelry-related role.
- Certification or training in equipment operation and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting.
- Experience with inventory management or accountability systems.
