Now Hiring an Assistant Field Technician in Nashville, TN!Trillium Construction is now seeking an Assistant Field Technician for a Direct Hire Position in Nashville, TN. ASAP!!!
Candidates will be responsible for traveling with multiple trained techs, helping them become more efficient while learning your trade.
Job duties:
-Clean and perform maintenance on lab equipment.
-Assist in calibrations on lab equipment.
-Assist in recording the work performed.
-Educate customers on the use and theory of operation on a wide variety of laboratory equipment including: Turbidity meters, chorine analyzers, pH meters, oxygen meters, flow meters, incubators, ovens, spectrophotometers, balances, thermometers, and others.
-Troubleshoot and repair laboratory equipment.
-Basic electronics and electrical knowledge.
-Scientific principles in biology, chemistry, and physics. Systems integration and data collection.
-Troubleshooting and system analysis.
-The use of many types of tools.
-Basic operation of laboratory equipment and good laboratory practices.
-Water industry theory and operations.
-Quality control systems and standards and customer service.
This is a full-time position; you will be working an eight-hour day shift onsite from Monday to Friday. The pay is $20-$23/hr. Be prepared to travel (in a company vehicle) and within a 5-hour radius of Nashville. There will typically be on average 11 nights out of town in a month.
