We are seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager for Local Kitchens first Kitchen Operations function. You will directly own the improvement and management of some of our most important operational metrics, including our kitchen labor P&L cost, our average cook times, and our guest satisfaction and issue rate.

You will work with our management team and Director of Operations to create meaningful playbooks that will allow us to scale efficient back-of-house processes to multiple markets and eventually thousands of stores. Top initiatives include creating an optimized staffing model for our kitchen staff, creating new workflows and process redesigns to reduce cook times, and leading root-cause analyses to improve our issue rate and guest satisfaction.

We are very well-capitalized and have industry-leading store economics - this is a great opportunity for a talented strategy and ops individual to run within a high growth setting. You will be given a high ceiling for growth, with an opportunity to define an entirely new org and team. You must be incredibly diligent and scrappy - you will be tasked with quickly achieving industry-leading standards of kitchen execution and labor costs. You must also be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable managing relationships with stakeholders of different backgrounds. **Responsibilities:**

+ Develop a scalable operations playbook that can reliably ramp any store within the Local Kitchens portfolio to a world-class standard of performance.

+ Create a labor forecasting and scheduling model and manage labor costs within an acceptable threshold for the entire company.

+ Drive process improvement across stores to achieve a consistently low average issue rate across all Local Kitchens locations.

+ Regularly report and provide analysis to the Management team on all relevant back of house operational metrics, and how your strategies will improve these metrics.

+ Achieve optimal average cook times across locations by developing new processes, and working with engineering and product teams to improve back-of-house software.

**Requirements:**

+ 2+ years of experience in consulting / strategy / business development / purchasing / technology / banking;

+ EQ - Has ability to collaborate with individuals from different backgrounds, and communicate effectively at all skill levels

+ Ideally have high-growth or early-stage startup experience

+ Extremely details-oriented and organized

+ Analytical - Advanced Microsoft excel knowledge and can manage / analyze data across sources. SQL is a big plus.

+ Guest obsession - create meaningful new processes to delight our guests

+ Leadership and ownership - lead a totally new function in a 25-person team

+ Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup

+ A deep interest in the food industry

+ SQL and Advanced Excel
