DeWitts Radiator is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our growing team.
The Warehouse Specialist will perform duties such as light assembly, packaging product, verifying orders for accuracy, and shipping and receiving duties. Endurance and attention to detail are critical to this high paced position. This person coordinates with all production areas to ensure product is packaged, stocked, and shipped on schedule. Flexibility is a must as the opportunity to work in different areas of the company may be needed.
We are looking for a team member that enjoys goal setting and teaming up to exceed expectations. We work in a climate-controlled environment, Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 4:00pm with 6 hours of OT on Friday mornings. There are NO work hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The most successful team members adapt well to change, notice details naturally, and sincerely care about others & enjoy a family-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
* Operate hand tools and equipment
* Complete final assembly of various products prior to packaging
* Maintain quality control standards to ensure product meets specifications
* Package finished products
* Ensure all orders have been verified and filled correctly
* Coordinate the shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies
* Prepare and log shipping documents for incoming and outgoing shipments
* Manage inventory through cycle counts and daily inputs into operational systems
* Maintain a clean work environment
* Operate order picker and Hi-Lo
* Keep an excellent attendance record
* Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
* Frequent pinching, grasping, fine manipulation with fingers, reaching overhead
* Constant walking, standing, and working with your hands for an entire shift
* Frequent bending/reaching, twisting
* Ability to occasionally lift 30 lbs., rarely lift < 50 pounds, occasionally carry <50 lbs. and rarely push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Minimum Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
* 6+ months of related work experience
* Enthusiasm, passion, and pride in your work
* Recognize and acknowledge the high moral quality and goodwill of the Company
* Capable of working as part of a team and following instruction from a supervisor
* Open minded to change and constant improvement
* Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check and drug test
* Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
