JOBSUMMARY
Matheson Gas, Inc., is seeking an Area Sales Representative to join our team.
The AreaSales Representative "ASR" is responsible for all sales and growth aspects ofthe dry ice business in their assigned territory. The ASR works crossfunctionally with our branches and production to supply dry ice safely andreliably to all of our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated SalesProfessional with the ability to sell value who understands that results donot just happen.The position is also responsible for customerservice, which includes maintaining current customers as well as developingnew customers while working closely with the other regions in the US andacross our business entities.
Target Salary:$75k base plus commission and auto allowance (OTE $115k+)
Territory:Home office based covering the South Texas Market (San Antonio/Austin)
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Meetand exceed corporate objectives for safety and profitable growth within assignedterritory.
- Usecomputer software to obtain, place and log outbound calls to newbusiness prospects.
- Prepareand submit accurate and timely reports.
- Effectivelymanage travel expenses and meet individualized training requirements.
- Complywith company policies in safety, administration and quality.
- Preparequotes, bids and contracts for signature.
- Cultivate customer relationships by developing a deepknowledge of customer's business and establishing a consultativerelationship.
- Negotiate new and existing renewal agreements with thecustomer.
- Driveprofitable growth of the business by working with the commercialregions, product management and contract administration.
- Portfoliomanage by gaining feedback from different groups in the organization.
- Coordinatecommunication and support between our customers and prospects fromMatheson.
- Providefirst line product and application support to customers and prospects.
- Assistin accounts receivable as necessary.
- Promote"add-on" offerings from Matheson during the business process.
- Partner with internalresources to accomplish growth objectives.
- Lead clear and consistentcommunication with internal departments relative to customer success, opportunitydetails, development processes and other customer information.
- Managescontract lifecycles (price reviews, quarterly business reviews and volumereviews).
- Supportscustomer activities, new business acquisition, contract negotiations andcustomer service requirements.
- Maintainsopportunities, contact data and professional sales calls in CRM (SFDC/Dynamics).
- Keeps current with industry insights, monitors competition bygathering current marketplace data.
- Identifies cross-selling opportunities and leads the hand-off toother team members.
- Submitcomplete business packages to contract administration group forprocessing.
- Otherduties as assigned.
Language Skills- Ability to speak effectively, present information and respond to questions before groups of customers, clients, manager or employees of organization.

- Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
