Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Drafter at JEM Woodworking in Hudson, NY. The Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for our custom products. They will collaborate with our design and production team to ensure accurate and precise measurements and specifications. The Drafter will also assist in preparing project documentation and maintaining design files.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and drafting techniques
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to interpret architectural and design drawings
- Knowledge of woodworking materials and techniques
- Experience in creating technical drawings for custom cabinetry a plus but not required
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge using Cabinet Vision is a plus but not required
- Associate degree in drafting or a related field is preferred
