Job Summary: Kraft Tool Co is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team in Shawnee, Kansas. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing production operations, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources, and maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes. The successful candidate must have a strong background in engineering, business, or related fields, along with mechanical expertise in industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of manufacturing staff to achieve production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely and accurate completion of manufacturing orders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, enhance product quality, and meet customer demands.
Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting mechanical issues with industrial equipment and machinery.
Train and develop staff members, enhancing their skills and knowledge to improve overall performance.
Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to implement process improvements and new manufacturing technologies.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
Assist in inventory management, tracking raw materials and finished goods as necessary.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience (2-3 years) in a manufacturing supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and team management abilities.
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge in working with industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in using computer software for production planning, reporting, and communication.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
