Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Sterling, VA for a Senior CNC Machinist. The CNC Senior Machinist will be responsible for performing day-to-day machining tasks, including operating and maintaining machines, interpreting manufacturing documentation, and producing high-quality precision parts. The Senior Machinist will also collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in machining
- Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
- Experience with CAM
- Experience working in a high-mix production environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines
- Experience working in the defense industry is strongly preferred
