Administrative Director of Emergency Services
Location: Texas
Our client hospital in Texas is a 150-bed acute care hospital. They are currently under construction for a new 100-bed tower. They are seeking their next experienced Administrative Director of Emergency Services.
Key Responsibilities:
The Emergency Services Director manages the nursing services and staff for the department and ensures quality and full compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Administer a 44-bed unit with one Clinical Director reporting up.
- Developing and overseeing patient care in a manner consistent with quality and patient care standards, in compliance with professional practice standards, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintaining performance improvement activities and participating in quality improvement.
- Formulating budgets and achieving department goals for quality patient care and financial success.
- Participate in formulating policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Emergency Services Nursing leadership experience required
- Emergency Services clinical nursing experience
- Master's prepared
