We are currently looking for an Architectural Rendering Artist with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. This is a hybrid position based out of our Philadelphia, PA office.

This is an exciting Center-City Philadelphia in-person opportunity to join a collaborative and innovative team and organization, where you will have the chance to introduce style and expertise in visualization but also expand your capabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architectural Digital Visualization Renderer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge and proficiency in 3D visualization and rendering, with a strong focus on architectural design. This role requires a blend of technical skill, artistic vision, and a deep understanding of architectural concepts as well as the ability to teach others.

You may also be asked to innovate, provide input and ideas on how tasks could be done better, create and update asset libraries, learn new features and software packages, train staff on software tools, and travel.

Essential Functions

In addition to other duties that may be assigned, the primary responsibilities of this role includes the following:

  • 3D Modeling and Rendering: Create detailed and accurate 3D models of architectural designs using 3ds Max, Rhino, and other tools. Apply textures, lighting, and shading to enhance realism and aesthetic appeal.
  • Advanced Rendering Techniques: Utilize Vray for advanced rendering, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet client expectations and project requirements.
  • Real-Time Visualization: Work with tools like Enscape, Twinmotion, and Unreal Engine to produce real-time visualizations, offering immersive and interactive experiences for clients.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand and interpret design concepts, ensuring accurate representation in visualizations.
  • Video Production: Leverage video production skills to create engaging and informative architectural walkthroughs and presentations. Experience in this area is a significant plus.
  • Innovative Solutions: Continuously explore and integrate new technologies and methods in digital visualization to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all visualizations meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy, adhering to project timelines and specifications.


Requirements

Physical Demand:

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting of computer equipment may be required. Given the type of work, this position also requires the ability to handle repetitive work patterns on a computer for long periods of time.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a digital renderer in the architectural or related field.
  • Proficient in 3ds Max, Vray, Enscape, Unreal Engine, and similar visualization tools.
  • Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design principles.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and Revit models.
  • Experience in video production is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience
