The 92-bed acute care facility includes a 24-hour emergency department where patients typically see a provider in 30 minutes or less. The hospital offers services tailored to everyone in the family, including surgical services, a nationally-accredited bariatrics program and more.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant provides a wide variety of standard, advanced and confidential administrative support services and clerical duties requiring broad experience, skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices. Prepares correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc. Composes routine correspondence and memoranda; screens telephone calls and visitors, and resolved routine and some complex inquiries. Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings and travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.



Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills in representing LHS to external agencies ensuring compliance and organizational goals are met.
  • Implements changes based on new strategies and goals by working effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Analyzed and takes corrective action with respect to ensuring LHS compliance and advises senior management based on knowledge and understanding of complex issues.
  • Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations.
  • Performs a wide range of standard, advanced and confidential administrative duties demonstrating broad experience, skill, and knowledge of LHS policies, procedures and practices.
  • Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
  • Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to service.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • 5 years of job-related experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • 2 years formal education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and implement multiple tasks
  • organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as an effective team member
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
