Summary:

Under the supervision of the Nutritional Service Director, the Food Service Worker prepares cold/hot food according to recipe. Also responsible for talking with patients about ordering of food items.Food Service worker delivers patient trays during each mealtime with correct food items ordered.Also provides the units with nourishments for the patients and makes sure all floors are stocked appropriately to unit's patient count.Food Service Worker also replenishes food, drinks, dishware and silverware for each mealtime. Responsible for proper cleaning and sanitation of work stations.

Position Qualifications:

Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience:Experience in a healthcare environment or a full service restaurant operation preferred.Prior customer service experience preferred.
