We re Looking for a Principal Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails!
Our Team is looking for someone who has a passion for developing performant and robust Ruby on Rails applications, leading teams, providing mentorship and guidance in career growth, and supplying the continued thought leadership, innovation, and advancement of Android technologies.
You will be an integral part of our high performing practices org providing expert guidance and technical leadership while delivering amazing features to our customers. If you have a passion for performance, scalability and quality and have a track record of backend Ruby on Rails and React development, we want to hear from you.

- Implement scalable solutions for real-world problems

- Architect and implement end-to-end Android applications
- Take part in scrum ceremonies and team activities

What You Bring to the Table
- 7+ years of enterprise-grade Ruby on Rails development at Scale
- Growing the team's Ruby on Rails expertise: Provide expert guidance on best practices, patterns, and code quality related to Ruby on Rails development.
- Excellent architectural design: Lead the architectural design and development of backend product solutions, emphasizing modularity, reusability, and scalability.
- Optimal backend and database performance: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance the overall user experience and engineering experience.
- Valuable code reviews: Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Effective technical leadership: Collaborate with other engineers to define technical requirements and lead discussions on technology choices and trade-offs.
- Expanded test coverage: Code is tested thoroughly through unit and integration testing.
- Keeping us current: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development, and champion the adoption of new technologies and practices where relevant.
- Previous experience mentoring and managing more junior team members - delegating tasks, code reviews, performance management and career mapping.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails projects with secure coding practices
- Clean Architecture understanding is a plus
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigms
- Willingness to introduce new technical alternatives
- Ability to spot opportunities for process improvement
- Great communication and leadership skills
