WHAT OUR GENERAL MANAGERS DO:

* Control day-to-day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing restaurant team members

* Directly responsible for profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions

* Recruit, interview, and hire staff, motivate and train team, and take disciplinary actions, as needed

* Ensure fully staffed, fully trained, and fully performing location

* Oversee and adhere to local health and safety codes, as well as company-wide safety and security policies

* Follow the preventative maintenance program for facility, equipment, appliances, fixtures, etc.

* Lead a culture of safety and promote a positive working environment

* Drive the company goals and objectives for creating a best-in-class guest experience

* Bottom line responsibility for all guest reviews and guest experiences

* Maintain and ensure all products are consistent with company quality standards and recipes

* Partner with and complete timely execution of marketing initiatives

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A GENERAL MANAGER:

* Experience managing in high volume restaurants, with a minimum of three years preferred

* Strong understanding of restaurant operations

* Robust financial aptitude in respect to business operations

* Passion for hospitality

* Ability to lead and develop a team

* Be caring, self-motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence

* Hospitality degree preferred
