* Performs general cleaning
* Mops, sweeps, dusts and renews floor surface finishes
* Washes and/or cleans windows
* Cleans and services kitchens, lavatories, toilet rooms and rest rooms
* Cleans and waxes furniture
* Collects and places debris in containers
* Vacuums and cleans carpeting
* Sweeps and shovels snow and dirt from steps and walkways at building entrances
* Moves college equipment and furniture
* Assists with campus grounds when necessary
* Provides basic customer relations services
* Meets, greets and directs students and campus visitors
* Performs related duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Education:
* High School Diploma /GED
Competencies and Skills:
* Ability to read and understand written job orders
* Physical capability to climb ladders, work on scaffolding, and lift heavy objects of about 50 pounds
* Must have a telephone and access to reliable transportation
Supplemental Information
Terms of Employment:
* This position is primarily located at the Cape May County Campus and may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.

Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP)
Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension. Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
