Judge Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Therapist for one of our biggest clients in Rockville, MD!
Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: 60K+ based on experience
Overview: As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, developing, coordinating, and providing treatment and counseling services. Your focus will be on helping clients and their families cope with health-related social problems. This position involves collaboration with other professionals and community resources.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening interviews and assessments using various methods, including personal interviews, referral information, and medical history.
- Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals to recommend treatment plans that address medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial needs. Modify plans as necessary to meet client-specific goals.
- Provide ongoing counseling to individuals, groups, and families based on treatment plans.
- Identify gaps in services and advocate for reducing barriers to treatment and accessing community resources.
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and the surrounding community. Educate families and natural supports.
- Manage cases for an assigned group of clients, including coordinating and monitoring individual treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and rapid support services to prevent hospitalization.
- Schedule medical and dental treatments, as well as doctor visits.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling or related field preferred
- One of the following LCP, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C. 3 years post-masters clinical experience in a mental health setting
