What you'll be doing (duties of this position):
- Execute financial reporting, ensure proper classification of all expenses, assets, liabilities, reconciliation, and month-end accruals
- Complete daily accounting tasks including tracking funds, preparing deposits, and reconciling accounts
- Ensure the overall processing of accounts payables
- Accurately document all cash, credit, fixed assets, accrued expenses and line of credit transactions
- Complex problem-solving for upper management to ensure on-time and cost-effective project completion
- Assist with Ad hoc reporting and financial analysis
What you'll need to be considered (requirements):Education: - Bachelor's degree in accounting
Experience: - General accounting experience or a strong accounting internship
- Proficient skills with using Microsoft Office
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Thorough understanding of the accounts payable function
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong overall computer skills with an emphasis in MS Excel
