Growth Marketing Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Growth Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in scaling our customer base and enhancing our brand presence in the education space, specifically amongst parents, students, and teachers. This exciting role will be one of the first hires on ClassUp's marketing team, and play a pivotal role in defining the growth function at ClassUp. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven marketing strategies.


Note: this is a fully remote position, with potential for in-person collaboration with the rest of the marketing team on a monthly/quarterly basis. Given this consideration, we are only considering candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy, focusing on acquiring and retaining users, increasing brand awareness, and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage performance marketing campaigns across various channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Optimize marketing funnels, user segmentation, and targeting strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and content to ensure a cohesive growth strategy.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to monitor campaign success, making data-driven decisions to refine and adjust strategies.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on new marketing trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the edtech sector.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a growth marketing or digital marketing role, with a proven track record at an early-stage startup.
  • Strong expertise in various marketing channels and strategies, including paid ads, email marketing, content marketing, and offline marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools and KPI tracking.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
