**Description**

We are currently looking to hire a high-energy self-starter with a passion for helping people, resolving complex issues and an analytical mindset. **Essential Responsibilities:**

* Make outbound calls to clients that are delinquent and present a very customer retention-focused, approach to collecting past due balances

* Understand billing and payment processes and procedures

* Research detailed billing transactions from multiple systems, sort, and explain what occurred with the billing

* Use spreadsheets to organize data and explain account balances, including collection agency balances

* Verify contracts to ensure billing accuracy

* Focus on the goal of Customer Retention and Customer Satisfaction when dealing with external customers

* Receive client inquiry calls while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

* Research, negotiate and settle disputes for local and internet customers

* Document all customer issues, contacts, investigation steps, and resolution in a clear and concise manner

* Necessary follow-up for complete issue or inquiry resolution

* Use of multiple systems and applications

* Completion of necessary paperwork

* Other duties as assigned

**Essential Requirements:**

* College Degree Preferred or equivalent work experience

* Excellent MS Excel skills

* Proficient MS Office skills

* Experience or understanding of CRM system (SalesForce or equivalent)

* Proficient in understanding debits and credits and how they impact an account balance

* Understanding basic bookkeeping functionality and accounting terminology

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong planning and organizational skills

* Attention to detail

* Knowledgeable about the overall digital space, including social media

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment

* Minimum of 1-year prior collection experience

* Minimum of 1-year prior customer service or equivalent experience

* Minimum of 1-year prior billing or equivalent experience
