Infrastructure Senior Associate

Our client has an opening for an Associate or Senior Associate within the Infrastructure group. You will serve in the company s Infrastructure team and be involved in all aspects of the investment process for the power generation assets in the infrastructure investment funds managed by the company.

This includes conducting both financial and technical analyses for the company s existing infrastructure assets as well as for new investments.

You will:

• Provide technical subject matter expertise for investments in the company s power generation assets;
• Participate in all technical aspects of the transaction due diligence for the company s power generation transactions, including analyzing operational data, creating operational projections, evaluating various power generation technologies, and interpreting market conditions;
• Lead the financial modeling efforts to support transaction valuation and structuring;
• Collaborate with other financial advisors, independent engineers, transmission consultants, market consultants, and legal counsel as part of the due diligence process;
• Create investor presentations and investment committee materials, including those involving the concise synthesis of complex technical and financial concepts;
• Support the negotiation of key acquisition and financing documents;
• Conduct industry research and competitive analysis;
• Develop key marketing and communication materials for investors.

You will be required to travel national travel approximately once a month (for one to three days at a time). This travel involves travel to investor locations across the United States to perform due diligence on potential or existing investments and travel to the company s other offices in the United States to meet with investors and colleagues.

You must have a Bachelor s (or higher) degree in Engineering and ideally a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
