Position Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse employees and working hands-on in the warehouse leading and assisting in the daily workload. In this role, the candidate must have experience managing a team in a warehouse, setting and implementing productivity enhancing processes. Warehouse Supervisors must be able to communicate effectively with leadership and team members and be proficient in Microsoft Products, including but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint. An ideal candidate will be a responsive leader with the ability to execute warehouse processes with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for all shipping of product out of the building

* Responsible for Estate Warehouse area

* Picks up any required inventory orders for warehouse stock

* Runs, reviews and prints all required reports & paperwork to plan efficient use of resources to meet business needs.

* Prepares all product for shipping

* Responsible for delivery fleet

* Maintains accurate DOT records required by law

* Returns all phone calls & E-mail by the end of each business day

* Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment.

* Responsible for reporting any problems to Management

* Supervises shipping department, general warehouse and Estate warehouse

Skills/Knowledge:

* Work experience equivalent to the position, High School Diploma

* Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully

* Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.

* Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration

* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Works quickly.

* Effective organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

* Excellent attendance record; dependability and punctuality

* Adaptability to daily changing situations

* 3-5 years warehouse management and/or supervisory experience

* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and SharePoint, smart devices, and ability to learn internal software programs and applications.

* Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

* Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Is consistently at work and on time;

* Initiative - Seeks increased responsibilities; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed.

* Ability to lift 75 lbs., forklift and warehouse equipment training and certification

* Valid drivers license
