Custodian, Knoxville

The Custodian shall perform all cleaning duties required to maintain clean and orderly facilities. This position requires travel to several

campuses in the east and west Knoxville areas (transportation provided). Shift hours are Monday Friday 6PM to 2:30AM. Candidates will work as part of a team to perform evening cleaning duties. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits package.

Flexibility, self-motivated, self-starter, good communication skills, must maintain absolute confidentiality and privacy of information, ability to work as part of a team, knowledge of Knoxville area, and availability to work the night shift.

participate on university committees

perform cleaning duties around assigned buildings which include areas such as classrooms, corridors, foyers, restrooms, dining hall, offices, lounges, conference rooms, restrooms, daycare, library, etc.

sweep, vacuum, clean, dust, and mop floors

complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites

perform other duties as assigned
