**Description**

**PURPOSE OF POSITION:**

Warehouse and parcel shipping duties as required to operate an effective, safe and efficient facility.

**REGULAR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:**

Warehouse

A. Help check in and receive incoming shipments

B. Fill out bills of lading and call shippers for pickups and tracers.

C. Service walk-in customers.

D. Print orders and pick lists.

E. Assist with inventory and cycle counts.

F. Accurately pick and prepare products for outgoing shipments.

G. Assist in keeping facility clean and orderly, including vacuuming and dusting.

H. Make small order deliveries when necessary.

I. Other duties as assigned.

Parcel Shipping

A. Parcel Order Filling

1. Pick orders in shelf and bulk areas for parcel shipments.

Packing, Processing, Labeling, and Staging Orders

1. Securely package picked orders.

2. Weigh and attach all necessary shipping papers.

3. Adjust Nelson-Jameson paperwork for shipping charges, etc.

4. Stage product for pick up.

Other Duties as Assigned

1. Pick-up, open and distribute mail.

2. Pick-up merchandise/supplies at local vendors.

3. End of day UPS machine closing and totaling.

4. Liaison activities between office and warehouse.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Warehouse and parcel shipping experience preferred.
