Job Details
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Designer to survey and design electric utility and communications systems. The role involves conducting pole loading analysis studies, designing utility distribution system projects, delivering completed projects on time, and occasionally acquiring field data. The Designer will adhere to quality and safety procedures, maintain the GIS database, process completion records, perform drafting using AutoCAD, update records in Arc Map, produce work orders, and communicate with team members. Learning non-industry standard software may also be required.

Required Skills & Experience
1-5 years of experience with OCALC (must be recent)
Experience with make-ready design and PLA (pole loading analysis)
Strong organization and time management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
BS in Engineering or GIS
1+ year of GIS design or CAD design
