Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Set up service area for daily operations.
- Ensure all service stations have enough cleaning products with easy access
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Busses and sanitizes tables in between each member seating.
- Work with urgency. Be able to take initiative without constant supervision.
- Completes bread and water service for all tables in the restaurant during service
- Assists Servers with any necessary aspects during lunch and dinner service (help serve food, offer fresh pepper, refilling drinks, remove any empty/unnecessary glassware when empty, clearing plates, giving dessert menus etc)
- Cleaning and maintaining tables during lunch and dinner service.
- Ensuring that service has sufficient silverware, glassware, roll ups and placemats
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of department and daily club operations, including events and operating hours.
- Ability to work large or small events with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
- Breaks down and cleans service area and completes other pre-closing requirements.
- Reports complaints to a manager as they occur.
- Attends staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions and training as required.
- Thanks members and guests; invites them to return.
- Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by supervisor.
