SystemsAccountants is partnering with a small business based in Charlottesville, VA to make the strategic hire of a Controller. In this position, you'll report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and oversee all of accounting and finance. The business is also considering a transition to NetSuite in the next year; this role would be a key driver in the business's finance and systems transformation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning & analysis and general accounting
- Own month- and year-end close
- Financial reporting
- Lead upcoming finance ERP transformation, including driving system selection, planning, and strategy
Qualifications
- ERP implementation experience required; experience with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite preferred
- Prior controllership experience
- Strong GAAP knowledge
