Overview
The Floor Manager at Milos is responsible for overseeing all service and front of house expectations and standards throughout a shift. They liaise with the GM team to achieve and enhance Milos hospitality expectations.

Ensure Milos hospitality standards are being achieved.
Builds and coaches a strong floor team to provide the best service to our guests
Act as an Ambassador for Milos
Service
- Work with FOH staff to ensure all steps of service are being followed.
- Ensure dishes that are leaving the kitchen are to the Milos expectations.
- Work with host team to produce optimal floor plans for service
- Hold pre-shift meetings with FOH if staff to review areas of opportunities and shift plan
- Act as a leader to staff and guide our FOH team to successful service
- Instruct staff to clear tables, take orders if necessary, assisting Sommeliers with wine service
- Learn and teach the Milos concept and menu in order to discuss it articulately with our guests
- Perform constant dining room checks during service:
1. Customer checks
2. Cleanliness checks (Dining room, polishing area, and bathrooms)
3. Food quality and presentation
Customers
- Interact with guests and develop relationships with guest
- Exude confidence when dealing with guest issues and guest concerns (e.g., poor service, food not satisfactory, etc.)
- Ensure that every guest's experience can be enhanced
- Keep a watchful eye on guest cues to be proactive rather than reactive
- Achieve great customer compliments and feedback
Administration
- Review employee schedules daily to ensure proper staffing for success
- Constantly communicate with GM team any staffing updates or concerns
- Ensure that staff cuts are made accordingly to management expectations
- Outline daily floor plans and review with management team
- Review reservations and build a solid game plan to achieve great service
