DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our production line operators are responsible for operating our advanced roll forming machinery to create laser-welded air spacers and decorative muntin bars.
Work with others to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.
Comply with all company safety rules and regulations. Assist for effective investigation of corrective actions to support no recurrence of issues. Incidents will be effectively investigated, and the proper corrective action will be put in place to ensure no recurrence. Follow all training and communication as outlined by supervision and management. ALL personal protection equipment or devices must be worn as defined by Allmetal.
Support carrying out Federal, State, Local Safety/OSHA requirements regarding your respective areas. Guards must be utilized according to defined practices. Lock-out/Tag out must be complied with per the instruction at the point of use.
Operate tools to aid in the manufacturing process. Perform all process and quality related checks using all the tools and gauges that are provided to ensure all manufactured products meet required specification, operations, and characteristics pertinent to the R.O.G. being produced.
Required to troubleshoot and solve minor problems and make minor adjustments as needed, including all options changes.
Maintain a professional image for our customers all products must be packed neatly and securely. Responsible for a clean, organized work environment conducive to Quality, Productivity and Management expectations.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery. On occasions you may be required to help and/or perform minor machine maintenance. Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
Responsible for recycling and disposition of non-conforming material per proper procedures.
Responsible for accurately and timely completing Production Sheets, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) forms and all other pertinent documents.
Follow job specification to maintain scrap reduction to a minimum and on time delivery improvements to assure continuous improvement to the operation.
Orders must be run according to the way that they are lined up on the scheduling board, which indicates the priority to the customer
