We are currently hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician.



Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 12:00PM to 6:00PM (Wednesday) and 6:00AM to 6:00PM (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Night Shift: 6:00PM to 6:00AM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) and 6:00PM to 12:00AM (Wednesday)

Night Shift: 12:00AM to 6:00AM (Wednesday) and 6:00PM to 6:00AM (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)


Hourly Rate: Minimum $30 per hour



The Machine Maintenance Technician s primary job duties will be the troubleshooting of complex machine issues, repairing equipment, and performing various preventative maintenance tasks on all types of optical/industrial machinery.

What you ll do:

  • Perform installation, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems as necessary.
  • Ensures proper operation of equipment by performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs to production machines.
  • Performs calibration and verify test standards are within required tolerances.
  • Manages the repair and calibration of key tools and measurement devices inclusive of general calibration.
  • Administers and updates all calibration methods and procedures as required.
  • Maintains control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors.
  • Performs installation of all types of optical equipment and works with engineers as needed.
  • Interprets engineering schematics and procedures used during machine diagnostics.
  • Assists with building maintenance as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have background in optical machinery, automotive or maintenance.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 12 hours per day per shift schedule).
  • Must be able to read and understand technical data provided for the role.
  • Experience working with basic computer programs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on the auto tapers, auto-blockers, generators, polishers, de-blockers, de-tapers, conveyor belts, general building maintenance repairs.
  • Must be able to make repairs of production machines in a timely manner and document process within the work order tracking system.
