We are actively recruiting for a Staff Accountant opening with one of our growing Oil & Gas services clients here in the Houston area. The role is highly visible and will manage the financials for domestic and international operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performs complex accounting transactions in accordance with corporate financial standards and GAAP driving completion in an accurate and timely manner
- Manages fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, sale of assets within subsidiaries
- Performs monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepares support for external and internal auditors
- Reviews, investigates, corrects errors and/or inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports findings
QUALIFICATIONS
- BBA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience working in general accounting functions
- Advanced Microsoft office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
