**Position Highlights**

The University of Arizona Athletics Department is looking to hire several qualified people to work on an on-call basis at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. This is a non-benefits-eligible, ancillary position. The position is intended to assist the aquatic facilities operation staff with daily maintenance, event preparation, and event execution. The position requires light maintenance, cleaning and lifting of pool equipment. Flexibility in scheduling is required as hours can be irregular and may involve early mornings, nights, and weekends.

Note: on-call staff may be scheduled to work on special events, or as needed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

* Help to maintain the pools, the equipment and the surrounding areas of the aquatic center

* Help with setup and tear down of all applicable events

* Be on call during aquatic events

* Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED

* Experience with swimming and diving events, Colorado Timing equipment and/or experience in an aquatic setting, (example: lifeguard experience, repair and maintenance, facility management)

**Preferred Qualifications**

* W.S.I. Certification

* Lifeguard Certification

* First Aid Certification
