Job Description
Cable Puller to set up and organize server rooms. As a cable puller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and secure installation of network cables, power lines, and other essential infrastructure within server rooms. This position requires a strong understanding of cable management, industry standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities include:
Cable Installation:
- Efficiently pull and route data cables, power lines, and other relevant infrastructure in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure proper cable organization and labeling for ease of maintenance and troubleshooting.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on stalled cables to ensure optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve and connectivity issues or cable defects.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of cable layouts, connections, and any modifications made during the installation process.
- Provide detailed documentation for completed projects.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to cable installation and server room setup.
Requirements:
- Need to be able to work required shifts.
- Need to have own hard hat, boots, and basic tools.
- Proven experience as a cable puller or similar role in networking infrastructure setup.
