Being one of the fastest growing manufacturers in VA, this has given us the opportunity to expand our workforce. We are currently hiring a Machinist who will report to the Maintenance Manager at our Prince George plant.

Candidate requirements:- Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) software and machinery used for computer-aided manufacturing
- Knowledge of how to operate grinders, lathes and milling machines
- Must be able to read blueprints and understand the information, specifications and routings.
- Math skills to take precise measurements and make calculations
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process
- Ability to move roughly 50 to 75 pounds and remain stationary throughout a shift
- Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
- Work in a team environment at a fast pace
- Be dependable and accountable to work with team members
- Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend including overtime
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
