Top-Tier Specialist Asset Manager Focused on Credit Investments Seeks a Valuations Analyst
Location: Greenwich, CT (in office 5 days/week)
As a newly created position, this individual will be the main Valuations person for the firm working closely with the CLO team, along with Operations and Finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA or CFA designation is highly desirable
- 5 -7 years of relevant experience in credit/hedge fund valuation, investment banking, financial consulting, or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of CLO, ABS, SRT and other structured product structures and documents
- Extensive experience working with Intex and modeling CLO transactions in Excel
- Strong expertise in public and private credit valuation methodologies. Familiarity with valuation guidelines, such as FASB standards, is advantageous
