A locally owned and operated Plumbing business based in Condell Park, is seeking a full-time 1st Year Plumbing Apprentice to join their team. This position would suit a recent school leaver or someone local to Condell Park that is looking to start their career in plumbing.
Plumbers install, maintain and repair pipes, drains, guttering, metal roofing, mechanical services and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage and sewerage systems. This business has a growing customer base of domestic, commercial, industrial, real estates & strata companies. Most of the work consists of plumbing for new builds (houses/multi-dwellings), renovations of properties, kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and maintenance services for their clients.
To land this gig, you must
* Be committed and dedicated to completing Certificate III in Plumbing,
* Be reliable, enthusiastic, hard-working and professional,
* Be willing to listen, learn and follow directions,
* Be well spoken and have good manners,
* Have a neat & tidy presentation,
* Have great attention to detail,
* Be able to use your initiative and have a can-do attitude,
* Have good problem solving skills,
* Have good written & verbal communication skills,
* Be physically fit,
* Be capable of working in confined spaces,
* Able to handle working outdoors in varying weather conditions,
* Have or able to obtain your Construction White Card,
* Work well in a team environment, and
* Have completed CareerGate 3 General Aptitude Assessment
