TekPro specializes in the construction sector, focusing on renewable energy projects. We're seeking a Project Manager for a leading client in the commercial solar project space. This role involves managing solar or solar plus storage projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and coordination of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for clients, installation teams, inspectors, and internal teams.
- Manage multiple PV and/or ESS contracts, ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using CPM techniques.
- Oversee financial projections and manage project costs.
- Lead internal and external project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Coordinate engineering teams for the development of design packages.
- Create project-specific scopes of work and compile budgets and estimates.
- Negotiate pricing for equipment, materials, and subcontracted work.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 3+ years in commercial solar and/or battery storage EPC project management.
- Experience with commercial BESS projects desirable.
- Proven ability managing multi-million dollar contracts.
- NABCEP, FAA part 107, and NEC code knowledge beneficial.
- Strong understanding of commercial PV installations.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Leadership and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat Pro, Primavera/MS Project, and Helioscope.
