RCS is seeking a Remote Human Resources Manager to join the Corporate Team! This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Charlotte, NC.
HR Manager Job Overview: As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Human Resources Coordinators and the processes for onboarding, timesheet and expense report collection, terminations, employee relations, employee engagement, benefits administration and ensuring the well-being of our corporate and field personnel. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing HR functions.
Human Resources Manager Responsibilities:
Supervise HR Coordinators:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Human Resources Coordinators.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
- Facilitate training and development programs for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Off/Onboarding Corporate Personnel:
- Lead and oversee the offboarding and onboarding processes for corporate personnel.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding strategies to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Streamline offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and documentation.
Timesheet and Expense Report Collection
- Ensure field staff timesheets and expense reports are being collected by HRCs in a timely manner
- Assist HRCs with questions and discrepancies, check for quality
- Promote process improvement to streamline timesheet and expense report processes
HR Coordinator Backup:
- Serve as a backup to HR Coordinators during peak periods or absence.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of HR Coordinator responsibilities to ensure continuity in HR operations.
Employee Benefits Management:
- Administer and manage employee benefit programs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and legislative changes affecting employee benefits.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and enhance offerings.
Employee Assistance:
- Provide support and assistance to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Government Report Audits:
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with government reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary data for government reports.
- Stay current on regulatory changes and update reporting processes accordingly.
Additional Tasks:
- Manage and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HR processes and streamline workflows.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and proactively recommend innovative HR solutions.
- Lead special HR projects as assigned by senior management.
You are the ideal Human Resources Candidates if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR operations, with a focus on onboarding, terminations, timesheet and expense report collection, benefits administration, employee assistance, employee engagement, government report audits, and additional tasks.
- Multi-State employment law knowledge is required, SHRM certification a bonus
- Agency Staffing experience is a bonus
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and government reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
