NVR is opening a new Manufacturing Plant in Lavonia, Georgia and we are seeking highly motivated, positive, results-oriented individuals to join our team.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the start-up of our newest facility.It will be a unique experience to help set the direction of the facility and have a visible and lasting impact on the business.

We are seeking experienced NVR employees to relocate to the Georgia plant.Your NVR experience will be critical in establishing operations, achieving results, and servicing Homebuilding operations in a timely manner.The start-up team will receive training, development plans, and support from experts at our established plants.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Scheduling & Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible for scheduling house packages and coordinating production and shipping schedules for plant operations.Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Enter delivery requests/changes into NVR's scheduling system and create accurate schedules for rough and trim packages.
  • Create and update production delivery schedules.
  • Create and communicate schedule change notices and material correction notices to plant personnel.
  • Complete weekly/daily invoicing and billing for extra material
  • Monitor field capacity plans utilizing NVR's vendor scheduling program
  • Communicate with NVR field personnel and hauling vendors to ensure on-time and complete deliveries.
  • Prepare daily reports and delivery paperwork for use by the shop floor and hauler.
  • Prepare audit checklists, shipping reports, and blueprints for delivery operations.
  • Work closely with the plant's Customer Service, and Materials departments and Building Products' Logistics department to ensure operational targets are being met.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and cross-train in other departments, as needed.

Qualifications
  • Experience in an NVR scheduling or logistics department
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to develop relationships and engage with internal customers and communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must strong possess organizational, planning and time-management skills.
  • Reliability and initiative to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, professional team environment.
  • Results driven with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new things and cross train in other departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel to other plants and locations, as needed
