**Job Summary**
The **Painter**at G&D is responsible for using a wet spray process to paint various industrial components and material. You will load and unload material from the paint line, and ensure that all material meets quality expectations and customer specifications.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**
* Accurately document each part painted during duration of shift
* Operate crane/hoist to load and unload paint line
* Wash and decontaminate parts/material prior to painting
* Move material to and from paint area - staging for production and shipping as necessary
* Comply with storage procedures to ensure proper drying and paint adhesion
* Meet customer specifications for various primer coats and top coats
* Operate Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift)
* Replace 55gal paint drums as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
* At least two years of experience using a wet spray process to paint materials and components in a production environment
* Prior experience operating stand-up and/or sit-down forklift
* Proficient with use of various tools - impact gun, torque machine, hoists & crane
* Proficient at reading blueprints and schematics
* Basic PC skills - email, data entry, recordkeeping
* Associates degree or vocational / trade certification preferred
* High school diploma / GED equivalent required
