Snyder & Associates has an opportunity for a motivated and proactive marketing professional to join our Environmental Business Unit. This individual will possess excellent technical writing skills and editing abilities that support content management of resumes, project descriptions, technical narratives and other marketing collateral. An appreciation for water quality and the environment is valued and an interest in understanding the engineering and design profession. Candidates will be detail oriented, organized and adept at working in a team environment. This team member must exhibit maturity, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude with grace under pressure.



Responsibilities:

Technical Writing:

  • Collaborate with Business Development teams to create appropriate marketing, proposal, and presentation materials.
  • Provide strong editing and writing capabilities for technical and non-technical content needs.
  • Ensuring the company voice is heard in the technical documents.

Process Management:

  • Maintaining production calendars across regions to meet deadlines and advise on production timelines.
  • Oversee calendar of conferences, client events, speaking engagements.
  • Identify and coordinate relevant awards programs; lead the preparation of award submittals.

Strategic Marketing:

  • Identifying and implementing creative ways to advance our marketing and business development efforts.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with design and practice leaders to stay abreast of the strategy, design approach, and thought leadership of different practice areas.
  • Conduct market research to identify project leads and support business development activities; maintain CRM database of opportunities and pursuits for periodic review.


Qualifications:

A bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, design, or related field is required. A minimum of 5-7 years of technical marketing experience. A/E/C industry preferred.
