Warehouse Team Lead


Job Details

The Warehouse team Lead is responsible in supporting warehousing process, lead in relevant activities related to receiving, warehousing, material and components handling, ensuring the appropriate delivery to the production area in adherence with the expected delivery times; Support Manager in continuous improvements relevant tools, processes, in line with applicable standards, HSE, QMS and regulations.

Essential Job Function:


WAREHOUSING PROCESS MANAGEMENT

  • Supports Warehouse Manager in processes related to movement, storage and inventory control of materials and components, ensuring good receipt track at the warehouse in order to verify appropriate delivery to production area.
  • Identifies opportunities for warehouse optimization, continuously improving the relevant tools and process in order to enhance efficiency and follow up the implementation, accordingly to the leader above.
  • Monitors that the relevant local operations are performed to respective quality standards, enforcing adherence with HSE, applicable standard, QMS, regulations and other regulatory requirements.
  • Carryout the physical and accounting movements of direct/indirect materials relating to the receipt, storage, replenishment of departments, picking and dispatch of the (fished) product, ensuring consistency between physical and accounting stocks.
  • Responsible for the correctness of the inventory of materials/products managed in the warehouse.
  • Perform inbound material receipts, ensuring the correct location in the warehouse.
  • Guarantee the refurbishment of raw material, spare parts/tools to production/maintenance departments according to the transfer order and production plan.
  • Management of outbound process and issue of the relative documentation in accordance with local regulations.
  • Carry out periodic inventories to guarantee the correspondence between physical and accounting stocks in the ERP system.
  • Guarantee the refurbishment and availability of PPE.
  • Record all physical transactions into the ERP System and/or dedicated form.
  • Support and coordinate the trainings for the personnel under his/her responsibility.



2. MONITORING AND REPORTING

  • Measures, analyzes and reports on KPI, monitoring the adherence with the relevant targets, in order to ensure that warehouse operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitors daily delivery to update inventory and elaborates report for all the aspect related to warehouse operations, proposing improvements in accordance with the leader above.


3. GUIDELINES, PROCEDURES AND TOOLS

  • Supports Manager and Leads Warehouse team in maintaining the procedures and guidelines, implementing and keeping high level of applicable standards and safe condition, accordingly with the leader above.
  • Deals with systems and processes implementation, leading problem solving, utilizing the relevant tool and methodologies working with the other functions involved.



6. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinates, coaches, lead, motivate and develops assigned staff, enforcing safety working practice, ensuring the effective talent management of assigned personnel in term of training and career development.


Qualifications/Requirements:

TECHNICAL COMPETENCES

  • Knowledge of Warehousing and inventory process and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Product and Production: process, features techniques.
  • Basis of Risk Management: methodologies, techniques, tools and applications.
  • Project Management: methodologies, techniques, tools and applications.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting: methodologies, techniques, tools and applications.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System: process, features techniques.
  • Continuous Improvement management: techniques, methodologies, tools knowledge
  • People Management.
  • Strong background in Manufacturing Warehouse and Warehouse Management
  • HSE compliance
