Security Officer PRN, work as needed - 7434-4364 Logan Regional Medical Center **Description**
**JOB PURPOSE:** Protects life and property of all persons on Logan Regional Medical Center Campus. Patrols all hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft and vandalism. Secures and protects all Logan Regional Medical Center buildings, including both on and off campus. Responds to security needs of Logan Regional Medical Center employees, patients and visitors.
**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :** High School Diploma or G.E.D; Three years experience in the field of law enforcement and/or healthcare security; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Posses a valid West Virginia drivers license. Applicant must have a clear criminal background, with no prior convictions for any misdemeanor or felony charges, other than minor traffic violations. The applicant must possess the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. The ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Must also possess a thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations.
